AUTISM AWARENESS DAY’ CAMPAIGN ON 02 APRIL 2017

World Autism Awareness Day was declared by the United Nations to raise awareness in all persons concerned about the importance of recognising autism and taking relevant action to minimize lifelong disability.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

According to the Center for Disease Control in US, the prevalence of Autism has increased by 75% in the last two decades. Accordingly, Autism is now recognised as the most prevalent developmental disorder in children.

To ensure better quality of life for children with autism, early recognition and intervention, at least by the age of four years is crucial.
