If you could only play Fifa Ultimate team on this I would have given the game one star. As it is you can play other modes that aren’t perfect all the time but much more stable than FUT.

Report abuse. Ok so the game itself is good, perhaps even great. You can read that anywhere. The problem is EA’s terrible attitude to getting it finished before releasing it. I pre-ordered the game and have had near constant problems with it of one form or another.

The customer service is appalling, with some unfortunate guys who don’t seem to have any real knowledge of the product running through a script trying to blame everyone else for the problem. EA would have you believe it is your ISP at fault even if other online games work fine, and other game modes work fine.

So best advice would be don’t waste your time with a new fifa game apparently happened with FIFA 12 too , leave it 6 months or so and buy it when it is cheaper and EA have pulled their finger out and fixed the bugs which should have been sorted before the game hit the shelves.

There seems little point reviewing the actual game Its really good on the rare occasions it works. There’s a lot of different gameplay options and the online content is brilliant. There is still a lot EA could do with making the game more realistic still difficult to pass into space and score from difficult positions , but would highly recommend it. I have had issues with my Online Pass have had to re-download every time before I play online , however hopefully this will be resolved soon update released yesterday.

Doesn’t offer much more than fifa 12 and is more prone to crashes in my opinion. Still good fun though. First glance it was a good and fun game to play, however, after a month of playing the game the usual ultimate team nonsense is still there from last year, but seasons in ultimate team seem to make it a quick fix, sadly EA decided to only have 5 only online divisions though.

Seasons has been improved making it more fun this year but i find that career mode is where the fun is if you play on your own , although some menu’s look the same the little additions make it all worth your while, from hearing Geoff Shreeves talk about injuries to the commentators speaking about players and team standings.

Game play is better, with EA slowing the pace of the game down making for more and creative styles of play from tika taka style of football to the classic long ball approach. The new addition of skill games are a joy to play, helping you out in all situations, it even improves you in game so playing them is a must if you’re new to FIFA.

All in all I’d say its a good game but to get the most out of FIFA 13 i would say play it friends and family as well as playing seasons and career mode, unless your addicted to ultimate team lol. I bought this game primarily for the Be a Pro mode and that has been a disappointment. You don’t play a proper career; you just play half a season with all matches at your home ground.

I got sent off three times! You cannot view the league table or anything either. Pro Evo’s single player career mode is a lot better. However, the career mode on FIFA 13 is pretty good so far. The slow gameplay doesn’t really matter so much when you are controlling the whole team. It’s a long way away, but I would recommend waiting for Pro Evolution Soccer if you want a game that plays more like real football.

The Career mode was good, the graphics were fairly good for a DS game and there was an increased range of clubs to choose from, in general I cant really complain as there were no glitches or freezes however the controls were confusing and changed from league to league.

Very fun game you can just spend hours just playing on training mode I love it but not to give it five stars though, as I think it could still be improved. Delivered quick works great. Excellent graphics, commentary ok but a bit repetitive. Would recommend. It made my grandson happ, so it makes me happy.
